What is a Benefit Corporation or B Corp And What Does It Mean

Benefit Corporations and B Corps have very high social and environmental performance. The certification evaluates how operations and business models affect employees, society, the environment, and customers. Benefit Corporations and B Corps meet the highest standards.

Today, there are over 2,750 certified B Corporations across 150 industries in 64 countries. Panaprium aims to become one of them. It is a new type of company: we balance profit and positive impact and strive to be one of the best companies in the world. We have set ourselves the goal of changing the world for the better.

The certification for Benefit Corporations and B Corps is issued to for-profit companies by B Lab, a global nonprofit organization. Only companies with a minimum score in social and environmental performance are granted the certification.

Companies must meet sustainability, transparency and accountability standards to become Benefit Corporations or B Corps. They must demonstrate a positive impact in areas of governance, workers, community, the environment, as well as the product or service provided.

Benefit Corporations and B Corps meet the highest standards to balance profit and purpose. This new way of doing business is building a more sustainable economy and redefining success.

Not all society's problems can be solved by government and nonprofits alone. Benefit Corporations and B Corps are helping as well. They have goals such as reducing inequality and preserving the environment. They work to make a positive impact on the world. They use business as a force for good.

Benefit Corporations and B Corps believe in being the change we seek in the world. All businesses should aspire to do no harm and benefit all, taking responsibility for future generations. These are the kind of businesses people want to work for, buy from, and invest in.

With this certification, businesses attract & engage employees, gain trust and competitive advantage. They make a profit and at the same time a difference in the world. Fortunately, more and more people are paying attention to these issues.

Benefit Corporations and B Corps aspire to solve social and environmental problems. One core value is conscious capitalism, using business as a powerful tool to address society's problems.

Building a business is hard work and we shouldn't have to do it alone. Becoming a benefit corporation or a B Corp makes a public statement that the business and its people care about more than profit. Being committed to something bigger is a very honorable thing.
