You also need proper amounts of nutrients, vitamins and minerals to stay. Water fasting is not a long term habit. If you try it, you will definitely be hungry.

Water fasting is a type of detox diet. You are only allowed to drink pure natural water during this periods. No juice, nothing added.

It is a very intense experience if you are used to eat multiples times a day. Many people have good experience with short water fast from 1 to 3 days.

Some says it has physical, mental and spiritual benefits. But many people have had bad experiences with water fasting for weight loss.

Low blood sugar, hunger, dizziness, eating disorders, heart diseases, paralysis, liver and kidney diseases. Water fasting is not for everybody.

Practicing water fasting for a short period of time can have health benefits for some people. Here a few of them.

Going through difficulties and overcoming them will definitely make you a better person. This leads to a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Should You Do Water Fasting For Weight Loss?

Water fasting is great to break with unhealthy habits. It promotes a lifestyle change if you keep a positive attitude.

Water fasting remains a short term diet. It is not sustainable and can lead to disorders. It is very dangerous if done incorrectly.

Water fasting has health benefits. Weight loss is not one of them. You will lose weight short term on a water fast. But you will gain the weight back when you start eating again.

Smart exercise, restful sleep and a healthy yoga diet are keys to sustainable weight loss. Fasting will not help you if you keep unhealthy eating habits afterwards.

Live a healthy lifestyle to promote health and well-being. Yoga is great to incorporate in your wellness routine. Fasting should only play a small role in your lifestyle.
